The Early Childhood Coalition of the Illinois Quad City Area supports children and their families by developing resources and identifying needs within the community. We offer valuable support and guidance to those who care for young learners through initiatives like our parent and caregiver Mentorship Programs, Pyramid Model trainings, and Communities of Practice. Our collective efforts help create a brighter future for the region's children and families.
Mentorship is crucial for effective early childhood education. Our coalition works to improve these systems by creating a strong network of support for educators, parents, and caregivers.
When experienced educators mentor new teachers, it helps with retention and increases job satisfaction. When parents come together, they can resource share and offer support to each other. This guidance provides valuable insights and strategies, enhancing their confidence and capabilities. This supportive atmosphere creates a more positive and effective environment for young children!
